	Second Wind provides a pathway for people to enter missions from their current careers. The information you provide about yourself and your spouse, if married, is viewed by partner organizations. In other words, the matching program brings you to the virtual front door of Australian sending organizations, also called mission agencies.
	It is often not possible for Australian mission agencies to facilitate people who wish to join them from outside Australia. Only the larger organizations have the capability to have someone contact you AND ONLY if they have a recruiting office in your country. Please, first consult your church and missions leaders in your country for opportunities that best fit you. If you do enter a personal profile and after "matches" are made, we suggest you return to the "Mission Agency Links" page of this web site and use it as a starting point to evaluate each "Match" that appears in your password-protected area. This step will allow you to determine for yourself the likelihood of connecting with a mission agency. Since you are responsible to the Lord for your life, it is incumbent upon you to be aggressive in seeking a ministry assignment that fits. This will most likely come from within your own country. Because of the uncertainties of recruiting from afar, most Australian mission agencies cannot afford the resources necessary to contact you. Therefore, we suggest that you take the initiative to contact mission agencies that appear to match your interests. You can link to their websites directly from the Second Wind website.
