Auburn, Sydney     NSW

Jesus said, “When the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere.” Acts 1:8

Come along to this seminar and begin to be practically equipped in how we can use the power of storytelling to share about Jesus.

Journey in Mission  Thur 16th September   Dinner at 6.30pm, start at 7:3

123 Delville Av Moorooka     QLD

Journey in mission evenings, for people considering missionary service. Held regularly discussing a variety of mission related topics
September's Journey in Mission will be focused on The Word and Mission. Bill Colyer from QUT AFES will be kicking the evening off by looking at what the Word says about the Word. We will then be tackling issues like -
- What happens when the word of God is sidelined in mission or the church shuts up?
- What is the relationship between word and deeds?
- How can we keep the Word central in mission especially in areas where the law forbids it or people are illiterate?
- Is it better to have dodgy preaching of God’s Word in remote places, or no preaching at all?
- How do we get better equipped to be a proclaimer of the Word overseas?
- What can the history of mission teach us?
