Our Mission

To mobilise Australian Christians in their 40s and over, into active involvement in local and global mission by informing, inspiring and challenging them and by developing strategic pathways which facilitate their participation.

To mobilise
means “to prepare forces for active service or bring into circulation” (Oxford Dictionary)

In the mission context it is a process of stirring Christians to move out of their current situation into active involvement in cross-cultural mission, either locally or globally.

by informing, inspiring and challenging
These are the tools used in mobilisation:

Informing: providing reliable information that can assist informed decision making,

Inspiring: presenting stories that inspire to action,

Challenging: confronting people with the need and our responsibility

No one of these alone is sufficient however they can be used either in tandem or separately as the situation dictates.

by developing strategic pathways which facilitate their participation.
If people are stirred to action but there is no apparent pathway for them to move along, it results in frustration and a return to inactivity. Therefore we provide a service which facilitates this process and partner with reliable, ethical and proven sending organistions that can place people in strategic locations and ministries.
